CATCHING UP WITH OLD FRIENDS AND FEELING BLESSED BY THEIR LOVE!!!

Do you ever just think of someone you would love to visit with again, have a laugh , talk over memories? Well, today my day was blessed with several of my friends contacting me to give me strength and hope and prayers! My friend Judy has moved back to Texas and we talked this morning  like we just saw each other! I am so excited to make a road trip to Kyle Texas, to renew our friendship and enjoy some time with her! Thanks for making my day today ! And a special shout out to Ocie too! She sends me uplifting gospel videos and I got my praise on right here in my easy chair! She is a sister from way back and she just seems to know when I need her to pick me up! All of my friends and family are such a part of keeping me strong and happy! Thanks to all for blessing me and loving me! Rusty's treatments are going well, and he has had some good days, so we are counting our blessings there too! Please keep the prayers coming as they help us both! CARD DESCRIPTIONS:

The tags are made with the new stampin up green and black holiday paper, the new tag punch is just perfect for your holiday card and sentiments. The Christmas tree is a design by my friend Debbie.  We have such great time and therapy together! The box is a design by my friend Lorna and one of her stamp friends helped her to make them. I love the quilted design! I hope this gives you a boost to get out your stamps and get busy designing! Friendship Stamping and Card Making!

 Hello my stamping and crafting friends!  I have been so blessed to have some great stamping and crafting time! This first card was Betty's design and very fun to make! This die cut is one of my new favorites it can be layered and used in so many ways! It looks great in any color of cut from any kind of paper! Simple but very elegant design! Thanks Betty for this fun stamp time!

This flip card is very pretty and you can change the background color to solids of use some design paper. The circle flip has a place to write on the other side. My friend loved this card and I am selling set of cards is you would like to order some completed cards to have on hand or for Christmas gifts. This dragonfly stamp set and die cut from stamping up is so detailed and can add jut the right punch to your work. It is really pretty made in variety of colors and fits the need for many occasions!

Stamping With Friends is Best Therapy EVER!

I have enjoyed this Jar Of Love stamp and die set from stampin up this month! The types of cards you can design with it is limitless! I got to stamp with Betty and Lorna and these are my jar designs! These beautiful zen designs were done with my friend Nancy! We had not stamped in over year, and had a wonderful day full of laughter and good chineese food!  These cards are made by stamping or drawing large outline design and then filling in with the tangle design art. It adds such a depth and totally different look to your art! Just pick a stamp and experiment! 

This last card is a stamping up design! I really loved the little circle outline stamp that allows you to frame your work in! I think I will do a tangle design with this set next time too! Blessed everyday!

Hello stamp friends! I am up this morning counting my blessings again! Rusty is feeling better and radiation is killing the cancer ! We hope for complete healing and he will  finish chemo in July.  Our family is coming to vist this week and we will Celebrate Father's Day when they all get here! Here are several cards for you to enjoy and hopeful get inspired to make something yourself. I love birds of all kinds and this bird is one of my favorites to use! I loved all of the bright colors and just stamped the leaves in different colors to bring out the color in the bird!

 This nest is for the sea birds to have their new babies in and it reminds me of our trips to Rockport to see Rusty's family! We were so blessed to have great place to go and visit and have a vacation right on the water! They lived one block from the bay and we had all kinds of water adventures when our boys were growing up. There is nothing better than friends bringing over fresh fish and shrimp to share! SUMMERTIME AND THE LIVING IS HOT!

This lady with the umbrella is so very versatile and fun to stamp and design with. The background is a scene stamp both form stampin up and very fun to color. I colored the lady and cut her out and added her on top of the black scene. It look like she is walking in to do some window shopping! Contact me for your order debsegler@gmail.com . 

Paris for a summer visit? This card was design by my stamp friend Debbie. It is a larger card and I love the die cut topper. 

Lamps stamped on card front, and background stated on base of card to start the layers for this card. I then added designer paper and ribbon and some bling on top. 

The flowers were die cut and then a colored card stock added to the back to show through as well as the leaves. The different textures of each paper really give the card some great depth, and an elegant look. 

These girls were so fun to color and make me miss my stampin buddies! We have all been busy lately and we need to stamp together soon! I hope these designs inspire you to try some new things and get some cards made today! Send me one and I will send you blog candy! Happy Stamping! 

MY HEART IS FULL OF THANKS!!!!

This picture is too dark but you get the best part and that is the flowers and leaves. The card front is dark green and then the flowers were colored and cut out and put on the top of washi tape in lavender colors. There is black bling on the sentiment that says anything for you! I had never used this set and I really love it want to make some more in different colors too! 

This is a flip card with a bird theme! The pond is full due to all of the rain and the birds are coming in all day to drink. Yesterday we had a big white sea bird of some kind visit us! It makes me remember Mamma Lake and Nan Naw's love for birds and it was a fun topic for all of us! I used some of the left over flowers to  THIS FLIP CARD AND IT JUST TURNED OUT SO PRETTY! 

Indies the card has a white base to write on and I thought I would send my little girls a picture inside the card. They love to get post cards! HA ! They say Nannie you haven't sent us a post card in a while! I try to add ice cream money so it also has an adventure inside! 

I am very thankful for the students that came and helped me to put away things that have been out since I went to work! They went up and down the stairs for me and we had some great smiles too! When we are done we will celebrate with a card making class for them! This inside is glued flat to the front cover and then the inside flips so you can decorate each side. Very fun and easy! SCHOOL IS OUT!!!!!

Hello my sweet stamping friends! So thankful school is out so I can focus on helping Rusty to get well! He is having good and bad days and is a real fighter and we have so many blessings! Thank you for all your prayers to help him fight this cancer! These cards a few from the past but I wanted you to have some different inspiration to look at! This is a dry embossed background with cut out stamped and colored flowers and leaves on top of it. SMELL THE ROSES!!

This has been a very difficult time for Rusty and I and we are trying so hard to search out and see every blessing everyday! His mother Mama Lake always told us to smell the roses no matter what was happening in our lives and I am truly trying to practice that good advice now. Rusty has had radiation treatments and he is really keeping a great attitude even during bought of feeling so sick and in so much pain! My CARDS TODAY ARE ALL FLOWERS TO INSPIRE YOU TO MAKE THE TIME FOR YOURSELF TO LIFT YOUR SPIRITS!! Only one more week of school and we can try to get some much needed rest and try to h eat and regroup! Please continue the prayers! Hugs Debbie 

THANK YOU LORD FOR LOVING ME!

SORRY MY CARDS ARE SO DARK THIS POST! My phone is acting up and have not been able to get it to the repair man yet! But had to share these three lovely designs with you! The first card is colored with copics and then a large flowers and leaves in 

the left hand corner was colored and cut out, and pot on top of the original design.  I love to color and my friend Debbie was here giving me tips.  She had really developed her talent with copics! Joyful in the Lord is the them for me this month as we struggle with Cancer! My husband is so strong and fighting it daily and I am leaning every day on my faith and the trust in JESUS!!  Please add us to your prayers! 

The next pop up card is really my favorite in a long time! My friend Debbie brought the card to our last stamp day and taught us how to make it. There are four sections on the base of the card and four decorated sections on the top of the card that stand up.  They are held in place by a colored brad.  The card will fold down flat so that it fit in an envelope. Love special folds and they really inspire my creativity ! You can find these directions on you tube.

 This design is so fun to make. We sponged the pink background color on top of the lower part of the card and then added cut outs, flowers and glitter over ribbon. There are many layers to this card and I also like to have many different features on one card. I just got my distress oxide inks and will be working with them to show you soon!

This card is mostly die cuts and I really loved the two colors together. The black bling really added to the look and it was very fast to make. Love the new die cuts form stampin up, and I will be happy to order yours! Contact me Debbie debsegler@gmail.com 

LETS COLOR Great fun and Therapy!

Ice cream truck by stampin up is so cute and fun to make!  This design is by my stamp friend Debbie she is so talented and brings great projects for us to make at out stamp days together! You can just go wild with this stamp set. The retired stamp set are out so look online to get what you want before they are all gone and there are some great sales too! I will order for you! 

Debbie colored this beautiful card and it just makes the girl almost look alive! She used copics and she highlighted around the image with a light blue. That really gives your card some depth, and draws the eye right to the the main focal point! The background is beautiful dies cut that frames the card very nicely! 

These two girls are having wonderful friendship and fun together and that is how I feel about my stamping group! We just help each other and support each other and keep each other lifted in prayer! Thanks to all of you who have been praying for Rusty and our family! We are trusting in the Lord and letting him guide us on this cancer journey! Please love your family hold them, mend fences, get into your faith, as you will always need that!
