Easter is on its way! Try something new.

This is a vintage print for Easter print one and make you a card using what you have on hand! Send me a picture to post too!

I love any card with birds and this card has several layers and I like that as well. The base of this card is a frame and I added the black and white word print from the back side of the card. I used a sponge and added the pink, yellow, and blue colors that would accent the card elements. I then added the cut outs of the birds, flowers, leaves and butterfly.

This little card has a PROP UP LADY, this card was from a retreat and we made several cards with her and glasses.  It is a quick easy way to accent a focal point on your card, you simply glue a T-shaped like stand on the back of the picture.

This is a fun fold card, I made this with my stamping friends Betty and Lorna. It is folded like a box top and then the outside folds as decorated .  Then the inside gives you several flaps to decorate as well.  I hope this gives you some encouragement to get to making some great projects this week.  Happy Stamping! Variety Play Day! With Special Prayers Needed

Lets make a variety of four cards this week and post them to share with others and then we will have to make them with our friends too! This first style reminds me of a quilt pattern. The squares are  3 but 3 with a solid colored layer behind them to give them a framed look. The bling and button and the splattered look on the background gives the card the dimensional look.
The flowers card is such a fun technique and it is very easy to make. Stamp the squares with the part of the stamp that you want to overlay on the cars. Then again frame it with solid color to make it really stand out. You can use any kind of stamp for this design.
I love die cuts and used this as my window for the outdoor scene. The scene is cut from a magazine and the little blue bird is sticker, quick easy fun and looks very elegant!

The sewing on the card was already on the designer paper and the strips were punched to get the ruffle design. Look at your designer paper, and imagine them in strips or pieces of colors and designs, you will find a whole new look for your cards, and all you do is cut them out!  Please send me samples of your work so I can post them for other to see! Hugs and Blessings! I am asking for special prayers today! One of my dear friends is having a mastectomy and need our prayers! Please lift her up.   God Listens!

Happy Valentines Thanks for the card orders!

This layer card design has become a favorite and it really has many variations. I stamped the background on craft card stock.  The trick is to stamp the next layers on white or cream before you cut your layers out.  I used a full sheet of white and had a fourth layer but I played it inside the card.  Next you cut the layers so that you cut on the same design as the first layer so that you can layer them on top of each other. Notice how the flowers match up on each layer. The red flowers give the color accent that really give your card some bang! This card is beautiful in many different colors!

The flowers card was designed with the stampin up edge dies. It cuts a perfect layer and really gives you all kinds of design choices. The white was embossed with polka dot folder and the flowers were stamped and punched with flowers punch.  Pearls were added to the edge. The flowers were colored with a sponged on color to give them some variegated color. The left side of the card has pink strip of ribbon over the edge. I hope these help you to get your grove on and enjoy some stamping therapy. If you want to order stamps and supplies please contact me debsegler@gmail.com

Card Making Therapy

This card lets the die cuts do the work! The first layer is flat and the next one is on dimensionals.  I love the elegant style and this two...
