You Got A Friend!

Everyone needs a friend, and this embossing folder is sure one of my new friends for crafting! This is the stampin'up tulip folder and it looks beautiful as the foundation for any card or scrapbook page.  I used a sponge to add some color and a fade in look for the background. This is quick and easy and fun to share with friends!

Beautiful Birdcage

This was very fun to make. I like the vintage look, and tearing the designer paper and then using a dauber or sponge to accent with dark brown ink helps to add dimension to your project. The brads and two different textures of ribbon, also give the card a textured look with depth. Stamps and supplies are from stampinup see my site at debseglerstampinup.net

KICK THE CAN? No Alter the tin!

This is a not a great picture but I wanted to share the altered tin. These are on the stampinup clearance rack, and my stamp friend Betty gave me one to play with so... these are some ephemera papers that I got in Wichita Falls when visiting my daughter-in - law Katherine. Yes, we had to find the stamp store when I visited.

Do you recognize the bird? Yes that is the stampin up bird set in the current mini, but remember it expires the end of this month so hurry and order desbeglerstampinup.net. and do not forget the coordinating designer paper.
This lovely vintage flower, on the front of the tin, is also new to stampinup, it comes in white, blue and pink, it coordinates with  the vintage designer paper and the vintage stamp set! It is a must have! Half of the paper is pink and half is blue, so you really get a nice assortment to craft with, and I just love this vintage lace attached with our sticky tape, it makes it very easy to pleat and arrange your lace or ribbon. You can order from my debseglerstampinup.net.

Vintage Birds on the Pond!

I have always loved birds, and then put that together with a vintage or altered art look and WOW!  My new home has a large pond right out my back door, and I feed the birds, ducks, and geese. I quack them. Yes I am QUACKY TOO! I am not sure if it is the quacking or the large bag of old bread that I am holding that makes them come, but it is sure fun either way! This week for Easter I have 11 baby ducks! They are cute bright yellow and black and very fuzzy. ( see my debseglerstampinup.net for supplies)

This stamps set and coordinating blossom punch has become one of my very favorites. In this flower my stamp friend Betty used the leaves stamp to make a slimmer flower petal.  You can color the leaves with markers to get a watercolor look, then use your blender pen! Happy Birthday

This is a very nice card for a male. but could go for anyone.  The top note die was used for the back ground and a must have for every stamper!  Very easy to use and you can use half or a all of it and get a totally different look.  I can not wait to make this one thanks Betty Chicka!  (stampinup products see my site debsegler.stampinup.net)

Happy Easter

This is such an easy way to add ribbon to your cards and projects.  Get out the red line sticky tape and just try it out. Apply the line where you want your ribbon and then begin pleating your ribbon. I like to leave the ribbon on the roll until I decide how much I will need.  Fold your pleated ribbon down to the tape and then begin the next one, very quick and easy and you can ruffle or design it any way you wish!  This ribbon can be colored with a dauber or sponge dipped onto your stamp pad.  All products are stampin up see my site debsegler.stampinup.net to order products. Let me know what you think!

Birds Steal My Heart!

This card was just wonderful for me to make as Black and Red are my favorite colors! Yes I have many favorite colors!  The paper is designer paper from stampinup as is the wonderful bird punch, and the swirl stamps are too. The heart of leaves was made by bending the vines as I glued them down to form the heart.  These are also beautiful in greens, yellows, and browns. See my new stampinup blog debseglerstampinup.net Call me for questions or tips and we can "CHRIP" about our designs! 979-255-0377
