Easter Duck and Bunny

Here are two more designs using the top note die cut.  My stamp friend Denise, found the cup cakes to put inside.  These are sure to get a wow from your Easter guest! Have some fun.

Easter Treats!

This is a Easter BUNNY TREAT HOLDER MADE WITH THE TOP NOTE !  This is so fun and easy to make and a great project to do with young children too! We used punches to make all the shapes and cut the whiskers from black card stock.  The top note is cut in half at the notches on the sides.  I added cotton ball tails on the back of the clear bag so that the bunny has a fun tail!

Happy Easter

This is made with the stampin up cone die.  It is a great treat holder and  party favor holder.  Then you can add your chocolate bunnies or birthday treats on the inside! This die makes a darling Santa too.

Butterfly Punch

This butterfly card is made with newsprint designer paper and three colored punched butterflies.  The ribbon that the butterflies are placed on is also punched out from a brown card stock.  The butterflies have been embossed and  then white pearls added in the center of each one.  This punch is another must have!

Butterfly Wings

This card is such a cute and quick card.  The butterfly is stamped with the blossoms set and punched from the blossoms builder punch.  This is a very versatile stamp set and punch, and is a definite must have.  It may be on the retired list soon so get it quick!

CRUISE INTO SPRING!

This cute card was made with my friend Betty! I really like to make cads that you get to color and use very different stamps.  The sentiment banner  really makes the card fun!  I think this was a digital and we colored it and cut it out, then placed it on our card with dimensional pop dots. The grass was torn colored card stock, then iced with green sponge or dauber with green ink. The sky is designer paper with a small pattern in it.  I think she is on her way to a stamp retreat!

Button Tree

This tree can be designed with buttons for any season. I cut the tree trunk out of embossed card stock. You can use any embossing that gives the trunk some dimension, and make your trunk any size you like.  I punched with my circle punch to make the colored leaves and then added buttons on the top.  There are many different ways to create your tree. It could be butterflies, flowers or even
Easter eggs!  Go for it and create a new tree for your next card please be sure to send me a picture to share!  Thanks debsegler@gmail.com

Spring Flower Layers

Here is the Spring layer card.  These are just so impressive and really easy to make.  The trick is simple, just stamp your images first.  Your get the best results when you use at least two colors and two images.
You cut three sizes  and the best way to cut is to use dies.  Then you back the cuts in colored paper and layer them on top of each other matching up the designs .  I hope to make one at my next stamp retreat with my stamp friends! Have fun! Please send me a picture debsegler@gmail.com

Layers But Nott Cake!

This layer technique is one i like to go back to when I need a different look for a card.  This works with any stamp that you like to use, and you can add stickles to give it a POP of color.  You stamp your images all at the same time, then cut them in three sizes and back with a colored card stock. Then add the designs to the colored paper and match the designs so that it looks like they are all together again.  This one is Christmas but i really wanted you to see t he technique.  I will add a Spring layers next.

THREE SPRING BIRDS

These three birds are so cute and very fun to add to any card.  This is a great way to give your card a window look by dividing it with ribbon. The squares are punched out of designer papers that coordinate with the embossed card background.  The card is then layered on a cream colored card stock to give it more dimension and color accent.  I hope you get some energy today and go make one card to brighten your day! Please brighten mine by emailing me a sample! Send to debsegler@gmail.com

SPRING THINGS FENCE

I am really into fences and windows right now, so here is a beautiful card that I did not make! I took a picture of it but do not know Bridget Finley personally, but it is so beautiful that I wanted to show you for the pure inspiration of it! If you have a window or fence card please email me a picture and I will share with my stamp friends! The
punched circle really makes the flow of this card draw your eye to the circle a s a focal point! It truly shows the beauty of Spring!  Thanks to the Bridget for being a great designer!

SPRING THINGS!!!

I am so in the mood for the nice spring weather! My sweet family  has been down with the most terrible flu I have ever experienced in my life! I was lucky and did not seem to have it as badly, but it made me so very dizzy and my husband passed out and hit his head on the bath tub and hurt his ribs when he passed out! Talk about scary! I had also just gotten over a couple of weeks of a cold and allergy symptoms! I am so very happy that we are all much better and over the worst of it! This little butterfly card reminds me of the many Spring Blessings that will be coming our way! This card is a simple and elegant design.  When designing your card look for any type of punch that you can add on the card for more dimension .  We have a wonderful new small butterfly stampin up punch that I love to add on to my projects.   I also like to add dragon flies to my cards after embossing them and coloring them to give them an extra bang of color!

Card Making Therapy

This card lets the die cuts do the work! The first layer is flat and the next one is on dimensionals.  I love the elegant style and this two...
