Deck you tree!

The tree above is covered in red birds and it reminds me our "MAMA LAKE" and Christmas past! She loved birds and trees and all kinds of nature and taught me to look beyond the surface of many things. SHe made our Christmas time very special and focused on Family! I wish that type of Merry Christmas for all of my stamp friends and family. The birds have red stickle, or glitter on them and it gives them a place of focus on your card. I saw this next tree in Austin Archivers. If you have never been there it is a must, lots of supplies and inspiration. I love to make all kinds of trees and this one is very easy. Use your
border punches or your fancy cut scissors and just have a blast mixing the cuts on your tree use a variety of colors and print sin your paper. Have fun.Publish Post

Happy Holidays!

This is the new stocking punch and stamp set. The background is embossed with a folder and it gives it that extra punch to your card.
This card is one I made for my swap card for my stamp friend Betty's group. We have so much fun and get to share with the friends in our group and get a new card each month. Do you a want to join us? Just send me and email and we will add you in lots of fun and inspiration! debsegler@gmail.com
This card is quick and easy yet so beautiful. The ribbon is the new cherry cobbler that matches our card stock. That is why I love our color combinations as they all are made to match so no worries of having the wrong die lot to deal with!

JINGLE ALL THE WAY!

This card was first embossed with the snowflake folder on white card stock. The cute snowman was stamped in black and colored with our wonderful markers. One end is a fine writing or outline tip and the other end is a paint brush tip for larger area to color. I bought my first set of markers over 8 years ago and they are still good. When coloring on your stamp just be sure that you use the side of the marker not the tip and it will last much longer! I enjoy coloring with the markers as it gives a variety of colors on your project. I also like to emboss my main stamped image in clear or white then when you color you have the raised image to help you stay in the lines and it gives your image a little more dimension and variety to you the project.

There is a shadow on the wreath card but I wanted to show you how beautiful the new pewter embossing powder is and it is so bright and beautiful this really doesn't do it justice! The background was embossed with a folder and then the small ribbon attached to the top of the wreath. This card is quick, easy and still very elegant! This next card was made with my cutting machine, I am getting better at using it and I love to use all of the supplies together to get such a different look.

This new stocking punch and stamp set is one of my favorites! The snowflake is a punch also. Add some designer paper and a little bling and you have the cutest card ever!

OH CHRISTMAS TREE!

This card is from my stamp friend Denise. She shared some of her designs with me so I have to show it off! You stamp your design on the base card stock then cut it apart into equal size. Then glue it to the brown base to give the look of a window. The background has been embossed with the snowflake folder. Then the sentiment and ribbon in turquoise just adds the special touch to this beautiful tree scene!
This card is so cute and was a blast to make. My stampin friend Betty and I made these and as always had fun while we worked. This is a type of pop up card and the trees have card stock legs glued behind them to hold them up when the card opens. I just ordered the snowflake punch so that I can add them to the next cards!

Card Making Therapy

This card lets the die cuts do the work! The first layer is flat and the next one is on dimensionals.  I love the elegant style and this two...
