Back in My Cardnaking

I have really missed my stamping and crafting time! This move has really been tough but we are loving our new home and very blessed to be back with so many wonderful friends! Cards help me Rehab!!

Hello my stamping friends! I have been trying to bounce back from hip replacement surgery and it is going very well. I am walking in the house without the walker and I took my first shower without help , and drove about six blocks to see if I could drive again! My sweet friends have sent me beautiful cards to give me encouragement and cheer! This card is from the stamping up card kit! I love the kits as they come with everything you need to make and design the cards! I have not been able to go upstairs yet to my studio so I'm playing at the kitchen table with my kits to help with my rehab!!  This first card has punch out flowers, scored background card, and matching envelope! I stamped the sentiment and it was ready to mail! Very fun and quick and easy! 

This beautiful card was from my stamp friend Betty! She makes the best cards and I miss our stamp time together! We are going to get together as soon as I can drive that far! These elements are all cut stamped and colored and cut out and added not the card front! The butterfly is a die cut and really give the card a super POP to the design! Thanks for sharing this Betty! 

This card is another card kit design. This has a pre scored card base, design layered paper, and a s stamped sentiment.  The colors are so pretty and vibrant!

My stamp friend Lorna designed this card while she was helping me rehab! She tore the white card stock then added a yellow layer, and then the Thanks stamped and colored! It is s super fun designing the variety you can make is unlimited! 

This is the card I got from my friend Debbie! She is the Queen of coloring and her cards are always so beautiful! Her sweet card gave me a boost when I got it in the mail! 

This card was made by my stamp friend Sherry! She is super talented and sent me this card to remind me that when it rains just dance in the rain!!! I loved the tear drops of bling she added to it! BABY ITS COLD OUTSIDE!!!!!!

Wow Big Hello stating friends! As you may have guessed I have been under the weather and not position much but still loving my card making and my stamp friends! I have my hip replacement surgery March 18th. Please pray for me to get through it and heal so that I can walk again and be mobil! I am feeling very blessed tone able to have an excellent surgeon and great family and friends to help me through this time! Here are a few cards to hold you over until I can feel up to posting again. The top card is a tip on using a die cut to cut out of background then put a bright color behind it to your card great color pop! I then added the dark rich razzell berry frame, and cut outs over the top of the die cut. There are lots of things going ninths card and it helps move the eye along your designs! 

This card is a simple flora stamped with the die cut placed over the top to just add some movement.

Gotta love little houses and coloring them too! Background dry embossing folder and twine, adds the finishing touch! 

Happy Easter is coming soon! This is an old print a friend sent me and I just love this little girl and her friends getting ready to hunt eggs!

Im Back in the STUDIO!

Hello my great crafting friends! I am back in the studio and so glad to be able to get some crafting and stamping therapy in! To say the least it has been CRAZY! I am still trying to get hip replacement and I have really been down and not leaving the house much! But I am very blessed by family and friends who help keep me going! Im sorry this picture is not very good but had to show you this beautiful card done by my Copics artist friend Debbie A!  I will try to get you a better picture next time!
