Forgetting those things which are behind stood out to me this morning. It's good to let go. Some memories are good to share and some are not. There are times when we may forget the things we need to remember and remember those things that we should forget. As I was meditating today I focused on the good things and the journey so far that I have taken and many things that I am grateful for. The friendship that I am developing with My dearest Friend JESUS and the great family and friends that were given to me for me to love and receive love. I forget those things which hold me back from pressing forward to be free to live for Christ to love OTHERS.
This is from my guest host and great friend, Cheryl Smith in College Station Texas. I really loved that she reminds us that God forgives us and knows our hearts before we even ask for forgiveness! Thanks Cheryl for this wonderful reminder! Hugs my friend!
With the touch of a card, special sentiment, and making of new friends, it helps us all to know and feel the "Heavenly Touch"!

HAPPINESS
Bright colors and flowers make me very happy! This is such easy technique, and you can go wild using lots of different stamps and designer paper. The background square is cut out of black or navy blue. It is just a little larger than the main image. I punched my flower into four squares, and put it back together as a puzzle piece if you will. I used dimensionals to glue the flower to the dark background, and that gives it even more dimension off the paper. The leaves are stamped on the cream base of the card and colored. The floral pink is wash tape, and then the sentiment is stamped in dark pink on cream card stock. I also decorated the inside of the card with the washi tape and stamped the sentiment again.
I am still having guest designer/host on my blog, so please contact me if you want to host for me. I am also ordering from stampin up so get me your orders! debsegler@gmail.com 979-255-0377

LISTEN!
I enjoy the great quotes and wisdom form momastery, and so I am posting one of her insights today! We all seem to move so fast and have so much to do and say, that we do not always listen or allow others to listen, and really hear out hearts! I was very blessed with a full weekend of listening from my sweet husband! It was the best Valentines gift ever! We took lots of time to just talk and listen and it really filled my heart and my spirit with love and encouragement! It is so empowering, feeling not only like you have been heard, but that you have also given a good listen, to your special love! He took me on several adventures and we were both greatly blessed by the togetherness. I am bad about always wanting to solve problems, and fix things so I jump right into that, and then when I do, I do not listen like I should. So, I am trying to work on that and he reminded me to listen, and it gave me some unbelievable insights and relief! I am blessed to the moon, by a man that HONORS me by opening up his heart and soul, and it makes me feel so loved and strong to share his story of life!
My Thinking of You card is a design that you can use really with any stamp. I punched the one inch squares with the stampin up punch, then the white background squares I punched out of dry embossed paper to give a little dimension to the card. ( I trimmed the white with scissors to make it smaller than the blue squares) The designs on top I stamped and punched out or cut out and glued on the top of the white. I stamped the sentiment on light blue card stock, and added the flower in the middle of the card! The card base in orange is also embossed with the polka dot folder. The look of this card really changes with different colors of card stock. I hope this gives you a fun project for the week. Have fun stamping!

Remember that >>>>>
"I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life." (John 5:24
I lean on these words! And I know we all need to be reminded, that Gods words and promises are everlasting! We often feel like we do not measure up, we question if we have his favor. This verse says to me that he has given us eternal life if we believe! What a reassuring gift!
This card was a beautiful designer paper that was a gift from a stamp friend. We worked on them in a group of about four ladies. We stamped the bird and flowers in the middle on cream card stock, cut it out and glued it to the center. Then we added the velum bird and flowers in the top right corner and the bird nest in the bottom left corner. The pink flower was added with pop dots to give it a small lift. The card base is a rose red card stock, and it seemed to pick up the colors in the card and provide a good accent color.
We all have these layers much like my card. We often try to hide under our layers, for fear of showing our true selves to others. I have learned that when I do that, as a means of protecting myself, it seems that I have missed out on so much love and understanding, that I could give and receive. Today, be that PINK flower, put on your pop dots to stand out, because when you reach out to someone and show them that your human and fragile sometimes too, you will be blessed by their story! People flutter by us all day, in a rush hurting, sad and lonely. Smile and say hello do you love birds? HA! Now that will get their attention! They will not be expecting that. I bet you both smile, and then the door is open for you to say you look like me today needing a friend *** Be Blessed!

This card really seemed to fit my verse today. I called a friend to make her feel better, and it really helped me as much or more as her! We are like the two birds chirping and sharing. I know that even though she is miles away I can call her and she will remind me of the Lords goodness and faithfulness! ( Search for that kind of friend)
This card has birds on it and you know how I love birds! When I hear them or see them it triggers wonderful memories and blessing for me. I often feel that God sent them just for me to enjoy and be lifted up by. I watch them fly and move about so freely. I try to imagine my heart attached to one, and that is the feeling of excitement and relief I get when I lean on my faith, and feel strong and secured by it!

Hearts to Share
I can not take credit for this card I pined it, but it is such fun way to use your heart punches and stamps. I am off to try and make one and I will try to share my results! Just stamp your design, anything that can be cut around on the edge of the page, and trim around it. I will put some decorative paper on inside edge of card to add some background I think! I am praying for a special friend today that has lost a loved one in an accident. I try to give her words of support and I often feel that my words are not enough. When I lost my Mother one of my friends told me that the Lord needed her more than me, and it was such a relief to realize that she was meeting him, and that she was in such beautiful place with no pain! God heals everything if we let him! Be Blessed!

My Greatest Wish!
Thanks so much to Paual Kay for her beautiful card as my guest host and her words are very true also! It is so much fun to hear from all of you so be sure to leave a comment. Under each post the word comment is there for you to click on and it will bring up another screen for you to add your comments and thoughts. I have several guest host/designers coming up soon, so look often and see what new things we will share! I am going to go and visit my sweet grand babies this week so, it may be a few days before I post agin.
This card is stamped with the stamin up around the corner set. I colored it with my copics and I love the colors and the way it turned out. I added the dragonfly sticker, and the bling in the center of a few flowers, and then the bling strip on the sentiment. This is a larger size card as it is a half sheet. I will now have to find my envelope maker so I can make an envelope the right size! If you like this set please let me know I would love to order it for you!debsegler@gmail.com
