Rainy Day Therapy!

Have you ever had so many blessings in one week that you  are just giddy! Well that happens to me often and this week was no exception! First we traveled to Portals New Mexico to see our oldest son Tres Segler become the new head Coach of Eastern New Mexico University! Please go to you tube and see his press conference.  We are so proud and excited to have been a part of this wonderful new journey in their lives! He was the former assistant at Mid Western University, and they are leaving some wonderful friends behind! I know that they will form a new extended family and many will be blessed by this move! Next I got to keep Kyle and Ashley's sweet little Landry that is four months! She is just the easy going laid back little love of our lives! She is smiling and talking all of the time and I can not help being so amazed as I watch Poppie who is smitten by her!
My cards today are to get you some free inspiration and rainy day therapy! Lots of rain here in Little Elm on the pond. Water is overflowing the banks and running up the street!  This first card has been cut with a stampin up edge die and I love the look of the two colors and shadow effect! The white background has been dry embossed and edge cut as well. The flowers and have been stamped and punched then colored with sponge to paper. The edge of the card is covered with pink satin ribbon. I will be happy to order these supplies for you debsegler@gmail.com.

The layered card is one of my favorite designs ever! Love the look of the images matching up and it brings back my days of sewing were we worked so  hard to match the stripes and designs. The design is stamped all on one piece of white and then cut apart so that you can match the design on each layer with the next one. You do not have to match in a straight line mix it up and down matching for a great new look!

This little fairy card was designed by my friend Betty and it was very fun to make while we enjoyed our stamp friends company! The base was die cut then we used a stencil to add color with a sponge. The fairy was a rented image we fussy cut and added on the top. We then used wink of stella and liquid bling!
The cute little bird was a stampin up die cut and we double cut his head and added it on top to give the bird dimension. The brick is a stampin up embossing folder that has been iced with white ink on brown card stock. We colored the flowers with colored pencils, and cut the branch and leaves with a die cut! Thanks for the great comments on my projects and I am wishing you some fun therapy!

This card lets the die cuts do the work! The first layer is flat and the next one is on dimensionals.  I love the elegant style and this two...
