Stampin' Up!®

Sock it to Christmas!

What a fun way to get your holiday cards started, by making this cute card from designer papers. We have so many new designs to choose from in the stampin'up holiday catalogue.  The focal point of this card is several different layers and texture that lead your eye to the center of the snowflake. (this is a punch) I added a brad in the center and some of our red and white twine, stamped the Merry Christmas and there you have it so cute! There are several new sentiment sets for the Christmas season, and I love the ones with script in them.   (stocking stamp and punch easy too)

Ornaments for Cards

This card is very clean and simple, and easy to make.  You can use any variety of Holiday papers and the new gumball green ink pad( my favorite one) gives the image a crisp clean print.  The stampin up ink pads are new and I just love the way they print and stamp.  The trick is to not pounce with a great deal of pressure when loading your stamp.  The extra pressure is no longer needed, and it will give you an outline around your image.  I am very heavy handed, so I have to use a light touch when loading my stamp.  The benefit of the new ink out weighs any hang ups, so try the new inks now! Your gonna love them! There is a new set of ornament stamps and coordinating die cuts and the bundle is a special right now, so look at my stanmp'in-up page.

Dancing Deer

These cards are from my stamp friend Denise.  The layers on the deer card add so much to the design.  The designer paper is called newsprint, and it can be used as a background or even to be stamped on. The Christmas wreath has been embossed with pewter powder and the white background has been dry embossed with an embossing folder. I like the clean and crisp look of this card.  I hope that you are  making the time to get your holiday cards made early and have some extra ones ready for gifts too.

Tree Embossed with gold

This card was made by using embossing powder. It does not really show up in the picture, but I love the look you get from embossing. We have new colors and they give your projects a new look and a little bling for Christmas.

Deck The Halls

I am still on the Holiday card kick. I have been having a blast getting together with my stamp group and working on Holiday Cards.  This is the new die cut from stampin up and you can do so many things with it.  The punch kit matches the die and can be used to punch holes around the design to give it another type of look.  I like to use my white gel marker to connect the dots to make it look as if you have stitched it with thread.

Embossing folder Background

The embossing folder gives the background depth and textures and a special focal point. I love sunflowers year round! Hope you’re smiling an...
