Follow Your Dreams for the New Year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! This is a stampscapes scene and it is a new type of stamping that I just love. You can stamp on a photo, use water colors, marker, blender pen, copics, chalk and on and on! This one is a stamped on a photo taken by a stamp friend in my yahoo group. She shared it with us and I have enjoyed stamping on it and trying this new style out. My sweet husband got me a wonderful camera for Christmas so I hope to be able to post better pictures and cards for my blog, and I will be showing off my new grand baby girl! We had a nice snow for Christmas, it lasted a short while but it made the season for us! We are so very blessed and thankful! Enjoy your families and I will be back in a week or so to start my new year blog! Thanks for all of the friendship as I am truly blessed by all of you and remember to make time for PRAISE! Blessings Debbie

This Red Bird Window was so fun to make and was a great design by my stamp friend Betty. We did not have a die cut, so we used a square punch. Layer the dark brown and cream card stock together before you punch and then, the window will line up. We used an embossing folder to show through the window and coated the folder (down side) with river rock ink. This gives the look of outside coming in the window. The cute red bird was a gift from Lorna and was already made. We cut the corners to look as if there was a window shape and then on the bottom we cut it to appear as a frame on the base of the window. It was work but turned out so pretty! My gift to myself for Christmas is a new window die cut! HA! The Holiday Deer card was made with a stampinup designer paper and stamp set. This is a simple but elegant card. Santa's Smile is a card made with Nancy's stamp at her play day. She often gives us great inspiration! The hat is covered in red stickles and is very glittery. We then craft cut the shape out and placed it on a snowflake embossed green background. The fun Penguin Holiday card was another Betty design. She cut the background shape to fit her stamp and it made it look like she had use a special die cut! We may be in the wrong business? HA! We used a core blue paper and embossed with snowflakes, then sanded it to make the white snowflakes show through as an accent. Then we placed it on some light blue with silver shinny accents, The blue strip looks like a fabric ribbon and give the card a great accent. The sentiment flag is also outlined in red stickles, but it is difficult to see in the photo. You can use the stamp you have and remember how to cut your own background die shape! The Christmas Tree Card was made with a circle punch, glitter paper, and the new small stampinup star, ornament, and tree punch pack. The star is punched of gold glitter paper and is on the top of the tree. (difficult to see) So you have enough projects for a weekend to make now!
