Birds, Velum, and the icing on the card!
I have been under the weather for a few days now so just getting some new cards up for you. The first card is for the birds! They are so cute and everyone seems to love this set. You can also add small flowers and butterflies inside the cage. The next card I made with my stamp friend Ann, she had us stamp on the velum with the flowers ands then stamp the leaves on the white card stock. It gave the card a very satin look and and the the little flower button added the right accent for the sentiment. The last card is embossed with white on melon mambo cardstock. The flowers are stamped and then iced with a sponge dauber for the center and edges. I love the icing technique as you can add color to anything and it gives a depth and focus point. I am hosting my card workshop August 31, 6:30 and would love to have you come and stamp and visit with all of us! Call me if your close to Little Elm and want to join in!

Butterflies and Embossing!
The first card looks like fabric on the background! I ran it through the bog shot machine and used an embossing folder. The cute little flowers are our small three flowers punch, with a pearl center. The next card is stamped with the new doily stamp and the ribbon is run through the new doily double sided punch. LOVE IT!

Tinker Bell Helps Me Stamp!
Yes that is my Chihuahua Tinkerbell helping me to hold the card! I will not tell you that I have four little babies! These cards were made with the new Doily stamp set, the first one is embossed and then iced with color using a sponge or dauber. The next card has a real doily that I brought home from a restaurant. So save those goodies to use to make your card POP!

TWEET AND GIRLS
Today this is a simple birdcage but the color combination is sure fun! The little girls started out on a tag and were added to the base of the card, on top of the background stamp. The background stamp can also be stamped onto your tag to give the effect of it being one piece of card stock. I love to color and use the water color pencils and water color crayons! So stay cool and have fun!
