Spring is in the air and as I sat on the patio this morning and thanked the Lord for our beautiful world,
I saw several little birds! There has been so much rain that our pond is over flowed and the turtles are everywhere! When coloring birds, don't be afraid for them to look whimsical and fun. Everything doesn't have to be true to life. I like to use at least three colors and often accent with a white gel pen. I also like to use a black gel pen to add in feathers and definition. When I see the birds, it brings me such good memories of my family that has gone to be with the Lord. Both sets of our parents loved nature, and really appreciated the beauty and gifts of it, especially birds. When my husband's mother was very ill she told me she was ready to go sing and fly with the birds! It has given me a gift of love and memories that I so treasure! When I hear or see a bird I think of all of them, and say hello back, so the birds can carry them the message in Heaven! The flowers card is punched into four squares and then mounted on an accent color, that forms a frame around each piece. The leaves are stamped on the white card base and the flowers are on pop dots, to give the card a dimensional look. The pink at the bottom is wash tape and the sentiment was added over the top. I hope todays cards inspire your creative side! Contact me for stamps and all needed project products 979-255-0377 or debsegler@gmail.com
With the touch of a card, special sentiment, and making of new friends, it helps us all to know and feel the "Heavenly Touch"!

Watch the Birdie!
I love all kinds of birds and this one is so wonderful to color. I used stampin up markers and copics to color this and it really is vivid and bright. This stamp was a stamp friends, that I have not stamped with for over a year. It is amazing the fun and friendship and good times built around the art of cards! Happy stamping day I am off to play!

Rainy Day Projects
It is pouring down rain, high winds, and flash flood warning so what a great time to stay in and make cards. This little bird stamp is one of my faves. I zoomed in on the background in green so you can see that it is dry embossed and gives the card some great texture. The stamped images are on a large scalloped circle of cream card stock. Get your craft on and design something today with texture!

Flip Flap Card By Stamp Diva Betty!
I have gone crazy over this flip card. It looks very hard and complicated but it just takes a little time. Betty used the designer paper from stampin up and the colors and designs just make this card a special one! Free shipping if you order from me by Thursday! The top flap is cut using the labels die and you cut it below the fold so that the fall stays attached. Then you can fold it over to make the front of the card! The base of the card is a 12 by 12 solid card stock, you can use two sided as well! Please contact me for me directions! Thanks to Betty for her creative take on this card! We have so much fun together doing what we love! Hugs Debbie debsegler@gmail.com 979-255-0377
