Partridge In A Pear Tree
I love any kind of birds and this card was right on the mark for me! I made this with my stamp friends and they all looked a little different. We used water color pencils and copic markers to color the tree and the bird. Who doesn't like to color ? I used a blender pen to blend the colors and then highlighted around the entire image with a pale blue marker to give the design some depth and accent. The photo really does not show all of the beautiful detail. I layered the design on top of three different designer papers and then onto a very vanilla card base. The red flower with bakers twine was added with glue dots.

WITCH SHOES TO BUY?
We have a cool front here this morning and the weather really feels like fall now, so this card is up to inspire your creative MOJO! I stamped this card with my stamp friend Betty! She has a great eye for design and color and we always have a few good laughs along the way when we get together to stamp! We stamped the design twice and cut the circle and put it onto the card with pop dots. I love the green added for a big splash too. There are orange liquid pearls on the stars and this gives it one more accent. I love her shoes and made me want to go shoe shopping for sure!

OWL ARE YOU?
It seems the perfect time of year to have some owl card. This owl was my stamp friend Bettys new stamp and she loves OWLS! SHe has tried to get me to love them too, and we have some laughs over the many types of owls out there. This little owl is sitting in front of a Halloween Moon and asking how are you all doing on your crating this week? The batty paper was some that she gave me and they added just the right trim for this owl to perch on. I am working on a order today for a dozen birthday party invitations so I am off to create. Have a blessed day!

Embossed Pink Flower
This is a stamp and embossing folder bundle that I really have enjoyed. The folder dry embosses the flowers and the stamp then lines up with the folder. I did this one a little differently by stamping the pink flowers and cutting them out first. I glued them over the embossed white card stock. There is a green print paper behind the design to add some color. The little butterfly was a cute sticker with some bling that a friend had given me. This folder is a great one to ice inside with your stamp pad then emboss, and the paper grabs the color for a beautiful background.

Pumpkin Patch
With the cooler weather this morning the pumpkin card really makes it seem like fall! I used my stamp friend Betty's pumpkin stamp and some of her pretty papers to make this card. She always shares some goodies with me and it si very fun to have a few new things to CREATE WITH! I colored the pumpkins with my stamin up water clots pencils and a blender pen. They are both two of my favorite tools! The pencils are soft leaded and blend to look like water colors! ANd who doesn't like to color? It is very relaxing and good therapy! The light scallop circle is a punch and I placed it behind the design to add layers of color and texture. There is some glitter pen outlines on the pumpkins that doesn't show well in the phot but it really gave the design a little pop of added color.

Window box flowers
Hey creative design friends! This is a window stamp and die cut. I have been buying windows, and furniture things lately and finally got one made. The background is the technique that I wanted to share with you today. It is so fun and easy to make, and I know you will design some great things with this, and do not forget, for you scrappers this is a great one for your scrap pages too! You will need several different colored ink pads and some masking tape. ( like the kind painters use) Take the size of tape you want to add color to your surface, and press it down onto the ink pad and rub lightly with your fingers, so it will pick up a good amount of color. Do not get upset if the color is not uniform cause that is what gives the CHARACTER to your project. Try black and dark purple for your Halloween projects too! Lay the inked tape onto your paper and press it down lightly on this card I use four stripes slanted from the to down. I even used the tape again, re-inked it and pressed it down over the color to make it darker and longer down my card. I cut out my stamped design and added it over the top of the background I had created with the tape. This is so fun and you can come up with many creative ways to use this technique! Here are some tips: 1: Use different widths and length of tapes, they do not have to match! 2: Tear the tape on the sides and ends and leave the uneven edges to give texture to your project, 3: crumble tape before adding the ink, gives it creases and very different look! Send me a picture of your project and some windows, furniture or doors stamped for me to use and I will send you
