LISTEN!

I enjoy the great quotes and wisdom form momastery,  and so I am posting one of her insights today! We all seem to move so fast and have so much to do and say, that we do not always listen or allow others to listen, and really hear out hearts! I was very blessed with a full weekend of listening from my sweet husband! It was the best Valentines gift ever! We took lots of time to just talk and listen and it really filled my heart and my spirit with love and encouragement!   It is so empowering,  feeling not only like you have been heard, but that you have also given a good listen, to your special love!  He took me on several adventures and we were both greatly blessed by the togetherness.  I am bad about always wanting to solve problems, and fix things so I jump right into that, and then when I do, I do not listen like I should. So, I am trying to work on that and he reminded me to listen, and it gave me some unbelievable insights and relief! I am blessed to the moon, by a man that HONORS me by opening up his heart and soul, and it makes me feel so loved and strong to share his story of life!

My Thinking of You  card is a design that you can use really with any stamp.  I punched the one inch squares with the stampin up punch, then the white background squares I punched out of dry embossed paper to give a little dimension to the card.   ( I trimmed the white with scissors to make it smaller than the blue squares) The designs on top I stamped and punched out or cut out and glued on the top of the white.  I stamped the sentiment on light blue card stock, and added the flower in the middle of the card! The card base in orange is also embossed with the polka dot folder.   The look of this card really changes with different colors of card stock.  I hope this gives you a fun project for the week. Have fun stamping!

Card Making Therapy

This card lets the die cuts do the work! The first layer is flat and the next one is on dimensionals.  I love the elegant style and this two...
